The word Konodon, comes from the Malinke language in Guinea Conakry west africa,  it means “Dance of birds”,  honoring to the immense power of liberty, joy and expansion within the essence of african dance & music culture 

 This encounter has been celebrated in Mexico and Guinea Cky,  created  as a  cultural immersion and artistic formation in 2015. Throughout its multiple editions it has been a bridge bringing  people together from all over the world.

Now, for the very first time this unique event comes to Ghent! Bustling city well known for its thriving community of artists and students!  

KONODON is a safe space where we build community and connect through  education and exchange, with a top team of international and local  guest artists, to guide and elevate us, while protecting and giving value to its culture by sharing it with foundation and knowledge.

A unique experience, an oasis where mind and body unify through the human experience of happiness and celebration held by art and culture.
